The state of Georgia's Ecycle website states that reuse should always be the first choice when recycling. We could not agree more! We strive for 100% reuse of all materials brought to us. Items which are able to be reused in their current form are tested and re-enter the consumer market.
Items not reusable by consumers will be broken down in our warehouse and separated in to base recyclable parts. Steel, Copper, aluminum, other metals, and plastics can all be saved and are valuable items for reprocessing and creating new items. Every time we reuse an item, it is that much less that has to be taken from our ever dwindling sources in the earth. We specialize in working with businesses to put together an asset management plan that will allow for the smoothest possible removal of their recyclables. We can also provide certificates of destruction for your items. Because we are EPA licensed and bonded this WILL relieve you of all legal responsibilities.
Reuse or Recycle
Reuse is for items new enough to still have a usable commercial value.
Recycling is for items which are no longer feasably usable in their current forms and will be disassembled and reprocessed into something new.
This saves valuable new resources!
Do I get paid for my items?
Whether you get paid for your items depends on two factors. The first is quality and the second is quantity.
Obviously if you bring us newer PC's which can be resold we can pay you. If you bring us large quantities of scrap items we may still pay you by weight.
If a customer wants destruction for security reasons, it will be destroyed!
A unlicensed / unbonded recycler will NOT relieve you of responsibility!
